Finance Officer

Location: Istanbul, Türkiye Employment Type: Full-time, On-site Tolin Underwear is seeking a qualified and detail-oriented Finance Officer to join its finance team in Istanbul. The Finance Officer will be responsible for managing day-to-day financial operations, maintaining accurate accounting records, ensuring timely financial reporting, and supporting compliance with applicable financial and tax regulations and internal policies. The role will work closely with management to provide financial information and analysis that supports business decision-making, cost control, and operational efficiency. The Finance Officer will also coordinate with external stakeholders, including banks and tax consultant (Mmal müşavir) and contribute to strengthening financial processes and internal controls. Key Responsibilities Record, review, and monitor daily accounting transactions and financial entries. Maintain and reconcile customer and supplier accounts. Manage tax-related matters in coordination with the external financial advisor and relevant authorities. Monitor inventory movements, product costs, and warehouse-related financial transactions. Prepare and perform regular bank reconciliations and investigate discrepancies. Prepare periodic financial and management reports for senior management. Provide financial analysis and relevant information to support management decision-making. Support the development and improvement of accounting procedures, financial controls, and reporting processes. Ensure financial records and documentation are maintained accurately and in accordance with applicable requirements. Qualifications & Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field. Strong knowledge of finance and accounting principles and practices. Practical experience with accounting software and ERP systems. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and standard Microsoft Office applications. Good understanding of Türkiye’s accounting, financial, and tax regulations. Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Excellent attention to detail and a high level of accuracy and integrity. Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, on-site environment. Previous experience in retail, apparel, manufacturing, or consumer goods finance is an advantage. Fluency in Turkish is required. English proficiency is an advantage.
