Senior Software Engineer

About the Role We are looking for an experienced Senior Software Engineer based in İzmir to join a long-term software development program within the defence industry. Technical Requirements B.Sc. degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field 8+ years of proven experience in software development Strong debugging, performance optimization, and problem-solving skills Strong proficiency in C# and .NET Framework development Experience with RESTful API design and integration (XML, JSON, etc.) Extensive experience with Angular (v10+) and TypeScript. Experience with React is also considered valuable Experience with ORM frameworks and concepts, including concurrency management, loading strategies, validation, and caching Experience with source control and configuration management tools (Git, Azure DevOps, TFS, ClearCase, etc.) Familiarity with Continuous Integration and DevOps concepts Solid understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP), SOLID principles, and design patterns Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments Ability to perform code reviews and mentor junior developers Experience with front-end architecture and component-based development Nice-to-Have Areas of Experience Experience with defence projects compliant with IEEE 12207 Java WPF / Silverlight (XAML) Entity Framework, NHibernate WCF services implementation Key-value stores (HBase, Cassandra, Redis, etc.) Messaging queue technologies (RabbitMQ, MSMQ, etc.) Responsibilities Analyze user requirements and create software specifications Participate in the design, development, and maintenance of software applications Design and document technical solutions Develop and maintain applications in line with project requirements, quality standards, and software engineering best practices Perform unit testing, code reviews, and refactoring Support release deployments and resolve post-production issues Participate actively in team collaboration, knowledge sharing, and technical discussions.
