Construction Accounting Specialist

Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Accounting, or a related field Proven experience in general accounting, cost accounting, and financial reporting Preferably experienced in the construction, contracting, project-based, or manufacturing industries Good knowledge of Turkish Tax Legislation, the Turkish Commercial Code, and relevant accounting standards Familiarity with e-Invoice (e-Fatura), e-Archive (e-Arşiv), and e-Ledger (e-Defter) processes Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly advanced Microsoft Excel Experience with ERP systems, preferably SAP Strong analytical thinking and reporting skills Strong communication and teamwork skills Strong planning, organizational, and follow-up skills Ability to adapt to a fast-paced work environment Job Description Manage progress payment (interim payment) accounting and project-based cost tracking Account for subcontractor agreements and payment transactions Monitor and analyze site expenses, capital expenditures (CAPEX), and project costs Perform accounting activities related to provisional acceptance, final acceptance, and project close-out processes Track bank guarantee letters, advance payments, and project financing processes Manage accounting for construction work in progress (WIP) and revenue/expense accruals Support the accounting of long-term construction contracts in accordance with TAS/TMS and TFRS, where applicable Coordinate logistics activities, material deliveries, customs clearance procedures, and related accounting processes where required
