BIM Engineer

Role Description This is a full-time, on-site BIM Engineer role based in Istanbul. The BIM Engineer will create, manage, and update Building Information Models for architectural, structural, and MEP disciplines in coordination with project teams. Responsibilities include preparing and reviewing construction drawings, ensuring model accuracy and compliance with relevant standards, and collaborating with architects, engineers, and contractors to resolve design and coordination issues. The role involves supporting project documentation, performing clash detection and model audits, and contributing to workflow improvements that align with the company’s sustainability and efficiency goals. Qualifications Strong proficiency in Building Information Modeling (BIM) tools and processes for multidisciplinary projects. Experience preparing, reading, and coordinating construction drawings. Knowledge of Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing (MEP) systems and their integration within BIM models. Background in Architecture and/or Civil Engineering with understanding of design and structural principles. Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field. Experience with common BIM software (e.g., Revit, Navisworks, or similar) and familiarity with industry standards. Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams and communicate technical information clearly. Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and commitment to sustainability and safe design practices.
