Mechanical Procurement Engineer

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Procurement Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in procurement processes for construction projects, both locally and internationally. Key Responsibilities: Tender Management: Organize and oversee tender processes, request for proposals, and evaluations. Order Management: Place purchase orders and monitor their progress to ensure timely delivery. Contract Preparation: Draft service and/or material contracts related to orders. Financial Oversight: Approve invoices and facilitate the issuance of payment orders. Procure parts and materials at negotiated rate Develop a supply and production plan to ensure timely delivery Create and monitor the performance of the purchasing strategy Gather and analyze quotes based on product specifications. Monitor and ensure quality control during the production phases with selected suppliers. Proactively identify and mitigate any production issues that may arise. Oversee the delivery and installation processes, ensuring timelines and quality standards are met. Maintain effective communication with internal teams and external partners throughout the procurement process. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from a recognized university. Proven experience in procurement processes for domestic and international construction projects. Proficient in English Ability to work in a fast-paced, result-oriented environment. Strong skills in comparing and analyzing price quotes, creating comparative analysis tables. Excellent organizational, planning, tracking, and reporting skills. Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit and MS Office Suite. Excellent negotiation and communication skills. Up to 5 years' of purchasing experience Strong written and verbal communication skills
