General Manager (Food Industry) Our client, one of the well-established and leading companies in the food industry , is seeking a General Manager who will lead the company's sustainable growth strategy, drive operational excellence, and oversee corporate transformation. Reporting directly to the Executive Board, this position will be responsible for the overall management of the company's operations and will play a key role in achieving its strategic business objectives. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Veterinary Medicine, Food Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Business Engineering , or a related field. Good command of English. Minimum 15 years of experience in the meat and processed meat products manufacturing sector. Proven experience in senior executive roles such as General Manager, Deputy General Manager, Chief Operating Officer (COO), Operations Director, Sales Director , or similar. Strong background in manufacturing, operations, supply chain, finance, sales & marketing, strategic planning, and organizational management. Demonstrated success in corporate growth, investment management, organizational transformation, and change management. Solid knowledge of budgeting, financial analysis, business performance management, and KPI reporting. Proficient in ERP systems and digital business management tools. Strong leadership, strategic thinking, analytical, and decision-making skills. Excellent communication, negotiation, stakeholder management, and team leadership capabilities. Results-oriented, visionary, and highly accountable. Valid Class B driver's license and active driving experience. Military service completed for male candidates. Able to reside in Konya, Türkiye . Key Responsibilities Develop and execute the company's short-, medium-, and long-term strategic plans. Lead the continuous development and optimization of the organizational structure. Oversee and coordinate all business functions, including Manufacturing, Quality, Maintenance, Supply Chain, Sales, Finance, Human Resources, and other corporate departments. Ensure the efficient, effective, and sustainable utilization of company resources. Develop and implement strategies to improve profitability, productivity, capacity utilization, and cost efficiency. Lead the company's investment plans, budgeting processes, and business growth initiatives. Foster a culture of operational excellence and continuous improvement throughout the organization. Ensure full compliance with Quality Management Systems, Food Safety, Occupational Health & Safety regulations, and all applicable legal requirements. Monitor and manage the company's adaptation to financial, technological, environmental, and regulatory developments. Evaluate business performance, SWOT analyses, and key performance indicators, and provide regular reports to the Executive Board. Develop and enhance corporate governance practices, company policies, and operational procedures. Promote strong cross-functional collaboration and a high-performance organizational culture. Lead talent development, performance management, employee engagement, and organizational capability building. Ensure the company's mission, vision, and corporate values are embraced across the organization.
