# IT Systems Manager

MINDPICKED is a new generation recruitment firm providing companies solutions in their search for talent, and talents opportunities who wants to reach their potential. We specialize in middle and senior management recruitment in various sectors and countless job functions. We are looking for a Systems Manager for our client: an international group with energy and industrial operations. The role will lead critical infrastructure across on-premises and cloud environments while driving a shift towards automation and hybrid cloud. Key responsibilities Own the architecture and operation of Windows and Linux servers, VMware/Hyper-V environments, enterprise storage, backup, and core Microsoft services, including Active Directory and Microsoft 365. Define and deliver a hybrid cloud roadmap across on-premises infrastructure and Azure or AWS. Introduce Infrastructure as Code and automation using tools such as Terraform, Ansible, PowerShell, or Python. Establish standards for container platforms, including Docker and Kubernetes, in collaboration with application and DevOps teams. Strengthen high availability, replication, disaster recovery, and backup capabilities; plan and execute regular recovery tests. Improve monitoring, capacity management, incident response, and root cause analysis across critical services. Lead and develop the systems team, working closely with cybersecurity, network, and international IT teams. What we’re looking for 15+ years of experience in enterprise systems and infrastructure, including at least 5 years of team leadership. Deep expertise in Microsoft infrastructure, virtualization, storage, backup, and disaster recovery. Enterprise experience with Azure or AWS and a practical approach to scripting and automation. Experience designing highly available environments and participating in real failovers or comprehensive disaster recovery exercises. Familiarity with ITIL/ITSM processes and ISO 27001; strong English communication skills. Experience with Kubernetes, Infrastructure as Code, platform engineering, or IT/OT environments will be an advantage.
