Planning Specialist

Job Summary : The Production Planning Engineer is responsible for preparing, monitoring, and optimizing production plans to ensure on-time delivery while maximizing production capacity and resource utilization. The role requires close coordination with Production, Supply Chain, Quality, Logistics, and Engineering departments to maintain efficient manufacturing operations. Key Responsibilities : • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly production plans based on customer demand and capacity. • Monitor production progress and update schedules accordingly. • Analyze production capacity, bottlenecks, and resource utilization. • Coordinate with Production, Procurement, Sales, Quality, and Engineering teams to ensure smooth operations. • Follow up on material availability and production constraints. • Maintain and update ERP/MES planning data. • Track production KPIs such as OEE, schedule adherence, and on-time delivery. • Prepare planning reports and performance analyses for management. • Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance planning efficiency. • Participate in production meetings and provide planning-related recommendations. Required Qualifications : • Bachelor's degree in a related field. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. • Advanced Microsoft Excel knowledge. • Ability to analyze data and prepare reports. • Strong communication and teamwork skills. • Ability to manage multiple priorities. • Excellent command of written and spoken English.
