System and Monitoring Engineer

What We Are Looking For • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Engineering degree or equivalent experience, • Maximum 2 year of relevant experience, • Fluent English communication skills, • Basic knowledge of monitoring tools (Nagios, Zabbix, Prometheus, Grafana, etc.), • Familiarity with Linux/Unix operating systems, • Basic understanding of networking protocols (TCP/IP, HTTP, DNS, etc.), • Scripting skills (Bash, Python, or similar languages), • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills, • Able to adapt to 24/7 shift working hours, • Good written and spoken English, • Team player with strong communication skills, proactive attitude. Major plus • Knowledge of cloud computing platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP, etc.), • Experience with CI/CD processes and monitoring tool integrations, • Experience with databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, etc.) and application monitoring. What You'll Do • Monitoring the performance of systems, networks, and applications to ensure they are functioning optimally. • Using various monitoring tools (such as Nagios, Zabbix, Prometheus, and Grafana) to track system health and report performance metrics. • Proactively identifying and troubleshooting issues, minimizing system downtimes, and providing swift solutions. • Analyzing system performance data to detect trends and anomalies, and suggesting improvements or optimizations when necessary. • Collaborating with other technical teams to resolve issues and improve overall system performance. • Generating detailed monitoring reports for internal stakeholders and senior management. • Maintaining accurate logs and documentation for system changes and updates. • Ensuring all systems are secure and performing to the highest standards by regularly conducting vulnerability assessments and performance audits.
